Science Fair Management Resources

STEM Wizard wants more students to DO SCIENCE. By participating in science fairs, students use skills developed in other disciplines and engage their whole brain. They get to wrestle with ambiguity and uncertainty. They get to create new knowledge, even if it is really only new to them. They learn science, math, and writing at a whole new level!

We recognize that it takes a community to support science fairs. So we’ve developed some resources to help students, teachers, judges, and parents understand the joys and the struggles associated with really DOING science – not just reading about it in a textbook.

Special thanks to Ronda Fields, Tim Baker, Skip Zwanzig, and Ashley Fields for taking the time to share their experiences with us. We admire the work you do and the passion you do it with. – The STEM Wizard Team
